Early this year we introduced the Envoy Programme and now we’ve got some exciting news to share – we are expanding it and also adding Messengers to the equation! At NomadMania, we’re all about bringing travellers together from every corner of the globe. And guess what? We want YOU to be a part of our mission to inspire and connect people through the magic of travel! We believe that by bringing together like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds and regions, we can create a global community bound by a shared love for exploration and discovery.
So, what exactly is the NomadMania Envoy (and Messenger) Programme and how can you get involved?
Mission and Purpose
The Programme is designed to empower passionate travellers to serve as ambassadors for NomadMania within their respective geographical areas. Whether you’re a city dweller or a countryside explorer, as an Envoy or a Messenger, you’ll help spread the word about NomadMania, share cool travel tips and stories, and connect with fellow adventurers near and far.
Envoy and Messenger Responsibilities
*** Expected input from the Envoy – 5 hours per month. 1) Local Meetings / Events – At Least 2 NomadMania Branded Meetings Annually. – Meetings must be announced with at least 30 days notice. – Ideally meetings will be in different towns/areas within your region. 2) Series and Content Development – Studying our current Series offerings and adding/correcting what there is. – Propose at least 25 new Series items for their region per quarter (=100 new Series items per year). – Feel free to use our Series Suggestion Tool. 3) Community Development – ‘bring in’ at least 5 new travellers per quarter (=20 new travellers per year) who complete their profiles with NomadMania 4) Representation – Envoy will be known as the primary contact person for our members from their region. – Contacting travel clubs, travel influencers & organizations for possible cooperations.
Envoys vs. Messengers
Envoys are those who have a home base and they therefore act representing NomadMania in their home country. Messengers are those nomads who are mostly on the go; they represent NomadMania globally, regardless of location!
General Organisation
Envoys will work with the head of the Envoy programme, so we are assured that they understand and execute their tasks. We estimate a commitment of 5 hours a month, plus the time an event takes. Envoys and Messengers will also be horizontally paired with a ‘buddy’ from the programme.
Benefits
Envoys and Messengers enjoy a range of benefits, including
- visibility on our website,
- networking opportunities with fellow travellers
- getting the inside scoop on all the latest NomadMania news and updates
- Reductions at NomadMania events
- Dedicated Envoy conference in 2025
