NomadMania is looking for a Travel Content and Marketing Manager for a full-time position with us. We believe this is a great opportunity for a travel blogger or an online marketing professional who is kind of looking to settle down in a very multi-faceted job that allows a lot of freedom but also requires overcoming significant professional challenges in a global travel tech company.
Recently we updated our website considerably and launched a new app. We are now actively developing the content part of NomadMania including the blog, social media (Instagram / facebook) and our weekly newsletter. We are therefore looking for a dedicated person who will be in charge of all of this (and more…) as part of our diverse globally distributed team.
The successful candidate will become a sixth employee in a promising startup further developing and managing the entire marketing department, including outreach and branding activities. Below are the specifics of the position.

Job Description:
The job will partially be what the candidate makes of it and the successful candidate will be expected to have original thinking and initiatives to develop and execute a good content marketing strategy at an international level.
There are two major sections of this position:
1) Content Management
- Managing content on NomadMania’s website including our blog;
- Drafting and reviewing our weekly newsletters;
- Creating and curating compelling content, such as posts, stories, reels, articles, and interviews;
- Collaborating with community members to obtain high-quality visuals and travel stories for content creation;
- Developing and executing the media content plan, ensuring consistent posting and a balanced content mix;
- Using basic photo and video editing tools to produce visually appealing content;
- Monitoring and analyzing social media performance to make informed decisions and adjust the content strategy as needed;
- Influencer marketing: activities to increase awareness of NomadMania with bloggers, social media travel influencers and other relevant industry players;
- Basic search engine optimization content work
2) Promotion & Coordination
- Contacting travel organisations, from agencies to travel boards, and establishing mutually beneficial relationships in many different markets;
- Developing branded products (For example: T-shirts, banners and other materials)
- Promoting NomadMania on various digital platforms;
- Supporting the implementation of marketing collaborations, media outreach, and partnerships with other organizations in the travel industry.
- Creating promotional materials necessary to execute the aforementioned tasks.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have:
- 3+ years of experience in travel content creation with demonstrable results;
- Fluent English. Additional languages will be an advantage;
- Knowledge and experience working with WordPress;
- A proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences;
- A pro-active, dynamic, results-oriented personality, able to work with minimal guidance and supervision;
- Considerable experience in online marketing activities;
- Knowledge of online research, social media and media relations;
- Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools;
- Experience with Canva or Figma is a significant plus;
- Knowledge of geography and love of travel;
- A proven experience of a previous remote work.
Work Conditions
We offer a long-term contract with 20 days paid leave annually (following 6 months) including standard holidays in your country.
The work is remote with flexible hours with a prior agreed online availability time. You’ll be a part of a globally distributed, multicultural small team that feels like a family.
Since NomadMania is developing rapidly, we expect that the current position will further grow into the Marketing / Content Director and will develop an entire department within the company.
Compensation
The starting salary following a month of introduction will be 1800 EUR per month. There will be additional performance-related bonuses and quick upward promotions for good results.
This is a full-time position with an expected weekly input of 40 hours.
Probation
There is a three months paid probation period for this role. The intern will be paid 1200 EUR, 1400 EUR and 1600 EUR for each month respectively. This is a time for both parties to feel it’s a right fit.
Once the probation is passed successfully we sign a long-term contract according to the conditions above.
