On Saturday, May 18th, NomadMania hosted an incredible meeting in Barcelona, which eventually was turned into a real travel event. Our Envoy Coordinator for the Mediterranean megaregion, Nicola Coratella found an amazing place.
Our event was hosted in the legendary Altair Library, which has one of the largest collections of travel literature in the entirety of Europe. The venue could not have been better for such an event, which gathered over 30 people.
The evening started with the Altair founder, Pep Bernadas, an official greeting, and a minute of silence due to the recent murder of several Spanish tourists in Afghanistan.
Then Carlos Useros Moyano, one of our UN Masters, shared his life story of visiting every country in the world.
Eventually, our managing partner, Orest Zub, shared some sneak peek information about the upcoming features on NomadMania and answered questions from the audience.
It was an interesting and insightful part of the event.
Afterward everyone move to the back side of the venue for a casual conversations and some drinks.
For the end of the night, about a half of the group went for a dinner in a classic Catalan restaurant, El Disbarat.
It was an amazing evening.
Special thanks to Nicola Coratella, Carlos Useros Moyano, Orest Zub and all the participants for making it happen.
