On Saturday 25th of May 2024, we held a Nomadmania meeting in Athens, Greece. The venue was at Electra Metropolis Hotel, a luxury 5 star hotel, at the centre of the city. The meeting was organized by NomadMania Envoy Vassilis Stamatelopoulos in collaboration with the NomadMania member, Alexandros Tsoutis, and co-owner of the Planet Voyagers.
From the first announcement, there was a positive reaction for participation. It was wise that a meeting room in the hotel was chosen, rather a regular venue like a coffee shop or a restaurant, as we gathered 80 travellers. After registration we started with a presentation of NomadMania and we invited the non-members to join and create their profile, so to start their journey through all this knowledge and information offered at the site.
Next, Planet Voyagers made their presentation with the trips they made in their first year of operation and they announced their next trips. With the images and videos of Alexandros, who is a great photographer, we all travelled at the edges of the planet.
There were pleasant conversations on trips, questions, and queries. Time flew so quickly and we wish that we’d had more time.
We want to thank all the participants as well as the father of the NomadMania founder, Mr. Thrasivoulos Mitsidis. It was our honor to have him with us, as Harry was in Syria.
