NomadMania is thrilled to announce details of our upcoming expedition to explore the wonders of Algeria with the guidance of none other than Wassim Allache – a seasoned traveller and this year’s nominee for the NomadMania Travel Award in the category of The Most Trusted Fixer. Pack your bags, because this is one journey you won’t want to miss!
Itinerary (April 27 – May 05, 2024)
Day 01 (Apr 27): Algiers Arrival
- Group arrival in Algiers
- Shared transportation to the city hotel.
- Group dinner to kick off the adventure.
Day 02 (Apr 28): Monastery Marvels and Algerian Pyramids
- Visit the Tibhrine Monastery in Medea.
- Lunch in Hamdania or Khemiss Meliana.
- Explore Khemiss Meliana, the birthplace of Emir Abdelkader.
- Journey to Tiaret, and visit El Jeddar (Algerian Pyramids).
- Overnight at Hotel Tagdaempt or a similar cosy spot.
Day 03 (Apr 29): Sahara Expedition
- Early departure to El Bayadh, a truly epic and untouched Sahara experience.
- Venture into the desert with 4×4 vehicles and sleep under a thousand stars in tents for a magical night.
Day 04 (Apr 30): Laghouat and Bousaada
- Visit Laghouat and attempt to access the university.
- Journey onwards to Bousaada, passing by El Djelfa, with an overnight stay in a local hotel or guesthouse.

Day 05 (May 01): Return to Algiers
- Visit Bordj Zemmoura before making your way back to Algiers.
- Check into the city hotel or a similar accommodation.
Day 06 (May 02): Dellys Casbah and Kabyilie Region
- Explore Dellys Casbah and port.
- Dive into the Kabyilie region, discovering Tigzirt coast and Benni Yenni—a village renowned for its jewellery and handicraft specialities.
- Overnight stay at Relais Vert Hotel or a similar option.
Day 07 (May 03): Journey to Hammam Debagh
- Morning departure, lunch in Eulma, and a visit to Hammam Debagh.
- Overnight stay at Hotel Baraka III or a similar accommodation.
Day 08 (May 04): Tebessa Exploration
- Visit M’Daourouch ruins and Tebessa.
- Make your way to the border with Tunisia, if permitted, with an overnight stay at Mehaya Palace or a similar option.

Day 09 (May 05): Return to Algiers
- Journey back to Algiers with breaks along the way.
- Drop-off at the hotel, with the option to stay near the airport based on flight schedules.
Pricing and Inclusions
Price: 1650 Euros per person (based on a group of 10 people)
