Imagine being able to see other nomads in your area – or anywhere across the globe – at a glance. Whether you’re looking to share travel tips, collaborate on a project, or simply meet like-minded adventurers, this feature makes finding and connecting with other globetrotters easier than ever.
Using the feature is simple: Head to the “nomads” icon on the map, and turn on “show nomads“.
Why Did We Invent This Feature?

Many of us have experienced this firsthand: meeting a local who offered an insider’s perspective or connecting with fellow travelers who shared an adventure that became a cherished memory. These moments are priceless, and we believe they should be accessible to everyone, everywhere.
That’s why we created this feature – to encourage these connections and make them easier than ever. Nowhere else in the world will you find such a simple way to discover and connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for exploration and meaningful travel.
Detailed how-to guide
- Open the NomadMania app, and make sure you have upgraded to the latest version of the app
- When on the map Navigate to the “Nomads” section
- Turn on both “Show nomads” and “Share location”
- Click the arrow in the bottom right corner of the map in order to update your current location
When you return to the map, you will see the location of other users provided that they have enabled this as well.
Then simply click on the icons and follow by visiting users profile. From there you can start a conversation of simply explore the profile.

The location-sharing feature is entirely optional and is never turned on by default. Your privacy and security are our priority, so we only show approximate locations within a 250-meter radius – other users will never be able to see the exact pinpoint location. The choice to share your location is always yours.
