March 9-12, 2027 (+ March 11 -14, 2027)

NomadMania is very pleased to announce a unique trip – that will quite surely never be attempted again, at least not by NomadMania – to the DARE region of Abyei.

Disputed by Sudan and South Sudan, this region is partially under the administration of the UN pending the resolution of its sovereignty status.
This means that this is the ONLY place in the world where you can claim you have been to two countries at the same place. We will enter from South Sudan, but you can also tick Sudan as visited by being in Abyei.
The plane will accompany us for the flights Juba > Abyei, Abyei > Wau and Wau > Juba.
