On Sunday 25th of August 2024 we had our Nomadmania meeting at Lyrarakis vineyard, few kilometres outside the city of Heaklion on the Crete island in Greece, hosted by our Envoy for Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, Vassilis Stamatelopoulos.
Here is what Vassilis has to share about the event.
As far as we gathered, we had 9 persons, we had a presentation of different local grapes varieties, then a walk at the vineyard and we got a lot of new knowledge for wine production.
Afterwards we sat in a table under a pergola where we had a wine tasting and we start our long discussions for trips and about Nomadmania. All of them love to travel so our talks lasted until night ….
We also had a travel book presentation of our fellow Nomadmania member Paulos Georgizas, it is in Greek and he writes for his trips in 60 countries.
