We Are HIRING – Travel Experience Manager

NomadMania is very happy to announce an opening for the position of Travel Experience Manager. This is a full-time position for an exceptionally extroverted, dynamic, organised and community-minded person who can plan well, likes meeting new people ‘virtually’ as well as in person and wants to be responsible for a full project from start to finish.

The successful candidate will become a permanent member of the NomadMania Team with a view to a long-term engagement. 

Main Responsibilities

• Relationship building with local travel providers in specific countries
• Development of unique travel itineraries in line with the NomadMania vision
• Announcement and advertising of trips throughout all NomadMania channels
• Organisation of all pre-travel activities including communications with travellers and fixers for all related issues
• Development (if applicable) of trip-specific merchandise (goodies)
• Monitoring of ongoing trips and resolution of problems
• Feedback and post-trip communication with travellers and fixers

Requirements

• Understanding of travel communities and especially NomadMania; strong preference for a candidate with experience in solo travelling
• Proven track record in written communications and relationship building
• Excellent organizational abilities especially in relation to travel groups
• Fluent English; additional languages, especially Arabic, French or Spanish are a plus.

• This is a full-time position, starting salary of 1800 euro following a 3-month trial period;

There is a three-month paid probation period for this role. The successful candidate will be paid 1200 EUR, 1400 EUR and 1600 EUR for each of the first three months respectively. This includes considerable training and immersion into the role.
