Venezuela changes remarkably as we travel across it. The journey begins among the hills and busy streets of Caracas, then continues through colonial cities, Caribbean ports, Lake Maracaibo, the Venezuelan Andes, Margarita Island, the eastern plains and the Orinoco region. Module 3 continues into Canaima National Park for the river expedition to Angel Falls.
Travellers completing all three modules will visit all seven NomadMania regions of Venezuela: Capital and Central, Central-Western, Zulia and the Venezuelan Andes, Llanos, Insular, Northeast and Guayana. The route also includes three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas, Coro and its Port, and Canaima National Park.
The program is divided into three bookable modules. Module 2 ends in Caracas on Saturday morning, followed by a free afternoon and evening. Module 3 begins the following morning and lasts four days, with the possibility of a complimentary fifth day and extra night if required by the confirmed return flight.

Important Notes
Domestic flights
Domestic schedules in Venezuela can change at short notice. This particularly affects the Barinas–Caracas–Margarita connection and the final Canaima return flight. If the Margarita connection cannot be completed on January 25, the group will stay in Caracas and fly early the following morning.
Module 3 duration
Module 3 is sold as a four-day program ending on February 3. The airline schedule may require an additional night near Canaima Lagoon and a return on February 4. The extra accommodation, dinner and breakfast connected with this possible extension are included at no additional charge.
Module 3 conditions
Angel Falls is an expedition rather than a conventional sightseeing tour. Participants should expect shared camps, hammock accommodation, limited internet, long canoe journeys, humidity and uneven rainforest trails.
Cash payments in Venezuela
Some local charges must be paid personally in cash upon arrival or at the point of service. Participants must bring clean, undamaged US dollar notes. Bills with tears, writing, stamps, missing corners or excessive wear may be refused.
