This 3-day itinerary offers a concise yet rich immersion into the heart of the Central African Republic. Tailored for experienced travelers seeking to check off Bangui and its nearby natural and cultural landmarks, the tour includes a day trip to the dramatic Boali Falls and a full-day exploration of the capital and its surroundings, including a unique visit to a Pygmy community and a river pirogue experience.
Visa support is included in the package for a seamless arrival (laissez-passer document provided for boarding). All groups will be accommodated at the comfortable Ledger Hotel in Bangui, the best in the country, which includes a pool and a reliable restaurant. The hotel accounts for a large percentage of the cost. All transport and activities mentioned are included, though meals are not. This short but intensive visit ensures you cover the essentials of a country few get to visit.

Day 1: Arrival in Bangui – Boali Falls Excursion
[December 1, 2026]
Arrival in Bangui via Ethiopian Airlines. Please note that due to security and logistics everyone must be onboard the Ethiopian Airlines flight ET959, arriving in Bangui at 12:20 PM.
After clearing immigration you will transfer to your hotel for check-in. Later in the day, depart for a scenic drive to Boali Falls, one of the most striking natural wonders in the country. Depending on conditions, you’ll be able to walk closer to the falls and enjoy the powerful sights and sounds of the cascading water. Return to Bangui in the evening and overnight.

Day 2: Pygmy Visit & Bangui City Tour + River Pirogue
 [December 2, 2026]
After breakfast, head out early for a special visit to a Pygmy community located about 90 minutes outside Bangui. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into the lifestyle, traditions, and unique identity of one of Africa’s most marginalized ethnic groups. Return to Bangui for lunch, followed by a comprehensive city tour including the central market, cathedral, and various key landmarks. Conclude the day with a river pirogue ride on the Ubangi River, offering views over the city and neighboring Congo. Overnight in Bangui.

Day 3: Departure
[December 3, 2026]
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Bangui airport for your outbound Ethiopian Airlines flight. Please note that due to security and logistics everyone must board the Ethiopian Airlines flight ET958, departing Bangui at 13:40 PM. End of services.
