Do you have to stay overnight for a visit to count?

If a region has been visited for less than an hour, but something has been seen, does this count as a visit?

Does a mere visit to a border post/line, just crossing the line - without proceeding further - count as a visit?

Does a visit to an airport without crossing immigration or leaving the secure area (i.e. airside) count as a visit?

Does a visit to the airport after crossing immigration but not going further than the airport area count as a visit?

Does overflying closely (i.e. at low altitude) count as a visit, especially for places best seen for above like volcanoes, atolls etc?

If crossing a region by train at night (with nothing but some lights visible), does this count as a visit?

If crossing a region by train during the day (without stepping foot in the region), does this count as a visit?

If a region has been crossed on a train while the traveller is asleep, does this count as a visit?

If a traveller has only stepped at a region in the train station/platform, does this count as a visit?

If a region has been crossed by car without a stop at all, does this count as a visit?

If a region has been crossed by car/bus and only a pitstop by the road been made (for fuel, snack etc), does this count as a visit?

If a region is viewed clearly from a vessel at sea/port exclusively (without disembarking), does this count as a visit?

If a passenger is in the secure port area alone without venturing further, does this count as a visit?

If a region has been crossed into illegally (and assuming that then a 'good visit' takes place to a main city or sight), does this count as a visit?
